Students Honored at the Archaeological Society of New Mexico Annual Meeting

Several UNM archaeology grad students were honored at the awards ceremony of the Archaeological Society of New Mexico Annual Meeting with ASNM Scholarship Awards: 

Tara Beresh for her research on sandals from Feather Cave, Lemitar, and Fresnal rock shelters. 

Joseph Birkmann for his research on perishables from McEuen Cave

Genevieve Woodhead for her research on Ancestral Pueblo and Mogollon corrugated wares.

In addition, grad student Thatcher Rogers was one of the 18 presenters in the symposium, along with recent grad Leon Natker and distant grads Steve Lekson, Dave Batten, Joan Mathien, and Tom Windes.
