  • Completed a 6-week bioinformatics intensive training at the National Center for Genome Resources
  • Received an IDeA Networks for Biomedical Research Excellence travel grant award
  • Received a 2-year ($150k) Administrative Supplement to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research from NCI/NIH for research on sex-specific disparities in melanoma mortality

Fall 2018:

  • Matt will be traveling to Memorial-Sloan Kettering in October for a week-long statistical genetics workshop
