If you are new to the portal you may get a popup that says "This Connection is Untrusted" and "What Should I do" in bold, just click on "I Understand the Risks" a drop down will open up, click on "Add Exception" a popup with the title "Add Security Exception" will open up (Notice that the address reads something like HTTPS://22.214.171.124/portal, our address) make sure "permanently store this exception" box at the bottom is checked and click "Confirm Security Exception" then..... Sign in and make request.

UNM’s software, Office and Windows are activated with a program that can be downloaded here http://it.unm.edu/download/
There is a tab for “Windows” under “Software Download” and at the bottom of that area is both Windows and Office activation programs. Click and you will be asked to enter your UNM email name and password, download the file. Go to the file and right click it and select “Run as Administrator” a window will open and run a script at the end of the script it should say windows has been activated and “press any key” to make the window go away…
