On Tuesday, November 7 at 5 pm, Dr. Jane Buikstra will present the keynote lecture for the Museum Research Traineeship Program in the PAIS building, room 1100.  Her talk, Lessons from the Past: Ancient Diseases and Health Today, will provide a broad overview of her research and share valuable insights involving fieldwork and museum collections. Dr. Buikstra will highlight case studies and address ethical considerations surrounding museum-based research. Register here

Dr. Jane Buikstra is a Regents’ Professor in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University, President of the Center for American Archaeology, and member of the National Academy of Sciences.
