Recent research on traditional irrigation in Morocco completed by UNM Anthropology graduate student Emily Hayes Rich has been featured in Science Magazine.  Emily, whose fieldwork was funded by a Fulbright award for Morocco, a Fulbright Critical Language Enhancement Award, an AAUW-UNM Scholarship, and a grant from the American Institute for Maghrib Studies, just successfully passed her master's exam in our Public Archaeology program and will be graduating this term.
