Dissertation Title:
"Applying Anthropology, Assembling Indigenous Community: Anthropology and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe in Southern Arizona"

Committee Chair:
Dr. Les Field

Research Interest/s:

My dissertation research explores the co-production of applied anthropology and Indigenous communities in Southern Arizona, a region marked by multifarious, overlapping and persisting colonial and imperial formations.  To analyze these dynamics, I draw from the history of anthropology, history of science and technology, historical anthropology, Indigenous Studies, and colonial/imperial studies.
