On Saturday, May 11 at 1 pm, the Department of Anthropology will host it's Annual Departmental Convocation.  Graduates can sign up at the main office, and can receive up to 12 tickets for family and friends.  The convocation will be followed by a buffet reception. 

The UNM Department of Anthropology began the Annual Department Convocation event in 1986 to honor students graduating in Anthropology at all levels.  Students who graduate in the fall semester of the year are welcome to participate in the Spring convocation, as are students who will complete their degree requirements over the summer following convocation.  Graduates and their families and friends are invited and encouraged to participate in this celebration of this significant accomplishment of our students.
