Annual Department Convocation
The UNM Department of Anthropology began the Annual Department Convocation event in 1986 to honor students graduating in Anthropology at all levels. The event takes place in Anthropology 163 on the Saturday of finals week at 1:00 pm, and is followed by a reception. Students who graduate in the fall semester of the year are welcome to participate in the Spring convocation, as are students who will complete their degree requirements over the summer following convocation. Graduates and their families and friends are invited and encouraged to participate in this celebration of this significant accomplishment of our students.
