Alum Milena Carvahlo Awarded Junior Researcher Position by Portuguese Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia

Milena Carvalho (UNM PhD Fall 2021) has been awarded a highly competitive Junior Researcher fellowship from the Portuguese Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia with her proposal ranking first place. This will support her in a position equivalent to a junior faculty member (six years probationary, with a tenure decision at that point) at the Interdisciplinary Center for Archaeology and the Evolution of Human Behavior (ICArEHB) at the Universidade do Algarve in Faro, Portugal.
