Call for Proposals: Alfonso Ortiz Center for Intercultural Studies

The Alfonso Ortiz Center for Intercultural Studies is pleased to announce its Spring 2025 Call for Proposals. You may access the guidelines for applications as well the application at the Ortiz Website. Completed applications are due by 5 pm, March 14, 2025, and decisions should be made within the month.
This year the eligibility for Ortiz funds has changed. The large awards (up to $10,000) must have an Anthropology or Maxwell Museum person in a role as PI, co-PI, collaborator, or consultant. The smaller $5,000 award, is open to the entire campus (including Anthropology and Maxwell Museum), and funds must be used for one (or more) of the following activities: as a match to an existing award or grant, to complete an existing project, or to initiate a project that would be longer-term or larger scale.
Individuals who have received previous support from the Ortiz Center but who have not submitted a final report are not eligible for funding until that report is completed.
