Jacque Kocer Awarded American Indian Graduate Center Special Higher Education Program Grant

Jacque Kocer, Archaeology graduate student, has been awarded an American Indian Graduate Center Special Higher Education Program Grant, which provides funding for multiple semesters. Jacque will use the funding to continue her graduate studies in archaeology. Her dissertation research surrounds the Gallina people (A.D. 1100-1300) of northwestern New Mexico. She examines identity through ceramic production and she is also working on other projects on their ornaments, axes, and projectile points.
