Katherine Peck, Beau Murphy, Caitlin Ainsworth, and Megan Cole awarded NSF Dissertation Improvement Grants

Four Anthropology doctoral candidates have received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Katherine Peck received funding for her Dissertation Improvement Grant proposal, The South Kohala Field System: Historical Ecology of a Marginal Landscape.
Beau Murphy also received NSF Dissertation Improvement Grant funding for his dissertation work Political Power and the Use of Geographic Space, which examines the Inka appropriation and reorganization of the site of Turi in the high-altitude Atacama Desert in Chile.
Caitlin Ainsworth received funding for her NSF Dissertation Improvement Grant proposal, Between Wild and Domestic: Intermediate Bird Management at Paquimé and Pottery Mound.
Megan Cole received funding for her NSF DIssertation Grant proposal, Exploring the Evolutionary Origins of Prestige in Wild Primates.
