New article in Sapiens: Do Moose “Belong” in Colorado?

In a new article published in Sapiens, alumni William Taylor (UNM PhD, 2016) and Jon Dombrosky (UNM PhD, 2021) along with Dr. Emily Jones (UNM Professor of Anthropology), Dr. Chance Ward, and Dr. John Went use archaeological data to explore whether moose are endemic or invasive in Colorado. The article, Do Moose "Belong" in Colorado?examines the complicated history of moose migrations and suggests evidence based approaches to managing moose populations and migrations.
