Genevieve Woodhead, archaeology graduate student, has made significant contributions towards a groundbreaking, technological study of Ochoa Ware, especially the corrugated ceramic versions of it found very unusually in far southeastern New Mexico and western Texas. Through her efforts, published in a recent report PUEBLO ON THE PLAINS: The Second Season of Investigations at the Merchant Site in Southeastern New Mexico Volume 2 (see Chapter 16), we gain a significantly improved understanding of this very very eastern corrugated technology and, more importantly, the people who produced it.  Click on the title to view the free PDF report.
