The Maxwell Museum presents the People of the Southwest Virtual Museum Visit. This 40 minute video features archaeology Curator Dr. Kari Schleher, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, OCA Co-Principal Investigator Robin Cordero, and Zuni Cultural Expert Dan Simplico. Kari and Robin take visitors into the exhibition and archaeology laboratories, while Dan shares stories of A:shiwi (Zuni) emergence, migration, and the importance of place. Thanks to the Frank C. Hibben Trust for supporting the creation of this video tour, and to videographer Bazz McLain and especially, to Amy Grochowski, Curator of Education, for shepherding this project (and our earlier Ancestors video) through to completion. Special thanks to Dr. Sherry Nelson and Dr. Ian Wallace (UNM Department of Anthropology) for their participation in the creation of the Ancestors video. Visit the Maxwell Museum website to learn more.
