The Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society  hasawarded two research grants to UNM Archaeology graduate students:

Will Marquardt received an award to process three radiocarbon dates from the site of Pottery Mound, and Thatcher Rogers was awarded funding for his project entitled “Population Mobility and Social Cohesion in the late prehispanic American Southwest and Northwest Mexico Region” for AMS dating of materials from three sites in southeastern Arizona.
