Southwestern archaeology, cultural affiliations of Southwestern communities, human adaptations to climate change, the design of archaeological projects, high precision archaeomagnetic and radiocarbon dating, pottery analysis and replication, yucca fiber textiles, techniques of field conservation and recovery, human ecology and multicultural education
