Her research focuses on continuous traumatic stress in conflict-ridden areas. She is completing her research, on the psycho-social impacts of the Israeli Military Occupation on Palestinians who live in the old city of Hebron. Preliminary findings from this study underscore the need for developing a specialized psychosocial model that fosters community-based resilience and protection from repeated trauma exposure. Dr. Rudolph and colleagues are in the process of developing a mental health/advocacy center in Hebron.
